...something perfect...
************************

*KO with Hef (checkin out my rack if you believe my friends)
the Tom Leykis Bunny Ball, the Playboy Mansion, Dec 02

*with Jamey Jasta in the BarRoom, way back in the old school

*Genius Director of Photography Eric Saarinen, by KO/02
You know his work:
The Hills Have Eyes (1977) (dp)
Jimi Plays Berkeley (1971) (dp)
Gimme Shelter (1970) (camera operator)
His father was architect Eero Saarinen, mastermind behind the Yale Whale (where KO uttered her first word---HOCKEY!!!) as well as The Arch and so much more...

(*the Whale in the snow 12.31.05)

*A to the K seems to be one of the only consistent voices of rock, reason and calm for me...he just gets inside, and especially now that Los Angeles has gotten inside me, I need that. We lost Elliott Smith, but we still have a voice for the anxious, exhuberent, defeated and determined if disenfranchised...I can't say it enough, because with the RHCP, whether seriously old school, utterly new or somewhere in between---it's all good! They Are the Ones Who Make You Feel Better! That's What They Do! If you have not already done so, you must go get Stadium Arcadium right now! Take the journey with nostalgic nods and optimistic thoughts!
You owe it to your summer!

*Zen and the Art of Pooh in dolphin disguise, Chinatown 7/06

*Oliver Family pre-KO

*Ami reminding us that strength is sexy (!) and smoking is cool (?!)
*Chicago/02

*Even though Failure to Launch was directed by CRH alum Tom Dey, and my former headmaster Charlie Dey had a cameo with wife Phoebe as "Loving Couple", it really was pretty silly and while I liked it, I wouldn't really feel very good about suggesting it to...well, anyone. Maybe BCO. And Ami.
But anyway, one of the co-stars is Justin Bartha, and he is compelling. I am predicting good things for him. He is special.

*Jake Gyllenhal and Justin Timberlake sharing a moment that screams SUPPORT! LOVE! RESPECT! BROKEBACK BABY! BEAUTIFUL!

*Jessica Biel proving she's got the All-Natural American Beauty thing mastered...Damn, girl! I just had no idea!

*Drew, the Original Wild Child

*Where is Quino? Anyone seen him recently? Hmmmm.....

*And at the end of this photographic & blogospheric jaunt, KO with Marc and Lucy at Cafe Des Artistes. This a pleasant place to put "something perfect" to rest! Rest in Peace!
