You all know I love hockey...
And obviously my favorite player~ Chris Drury~
dictates my team loyalty at this point...but one does not
discount the other...KO is able to appreciate great skills and
enjoy a great competition because loving hockey means loving
hockey above all else...So what could be more supreme (after accepting
the given Drury/Sabres defeat/elimination) than savoring the sweet rise of the
Anaheim Ducks/West Coast hockey ~aka Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals~ whilst on
the West Coast...on Matt Lum's exquisite high definition television?! You have not seen a
televised hockey game until you have experienced HD! Sure, we've watched hockey on tv
with great enthusiasm all our lives, but on HD...you see it. You are right there, and crisp.
Just look at these pics (taken with my Sony CyberShot, without a flash) capturing the
2nd goal for the Ducks...The clarity~ indeed, definition~ is absolutely phenomenal...
You have every seat in the house; you are there, even inclined to stand up and cheer.
This Game Is On...
*Under 3 minutes to go now in the 2nd period, and it's 3-1...The Ducks have the goods,
but the Senators are not quite ready to relinquish the Cup...In fact, as we put this post
in place, the Senators get a goal with a man-down disadvantage...it's 3-2 Ducks in
the last minute and a half- Wait! He scores! The Ducks retaliate...now holding their
lead at 4-2...2nd period over now...What a game! Ahhh hockey, highly defined!

*Update: When we saw Game 4, we witnessed a 3rd goal for the Ducks (when the
score was tied 2-2) and felt a finesse and fierceness that suggested a final victory
in Game 5...Well, after securing their lead with a 5th goal, it seems almost safe to
suggest the Ducks will procure the coveted Stanley Cup...13 minutes to play, and
the Ducks are definitely dominating this very physical game...but wait! hooking!
The Senators have a penality shot with 12:30 to go in the 3rd and~ denied!
A huge chance to maximize and shift momentum blown! Pressure! Pressure!

*Wow...a bad oh so awful turnover by the Senators...and the Ducks get their 6th!

*Less than a minute to play!!!

*Pressure by the Ducks...Senators with a shot at :16, but...it's over!!!
